I was talking to my buddy not too long ago. He told me he killed this modded SRT-4 that was reving and shifting and booting, so at the next light they went at it and the SRT-4 got killed.

Sounds like he drives a BMW 740i which if Im correct has a 4.8L V8 in it..... aka Tuner Death on Wheels

Shame it wasnt a NEW 760i.... V12 motor anyone?

alot of srt4 owners cant drive just a fact lol... i had to prove people that said they beat one wrong numerous times

Like others, I gotta ask what "modded" means? Intake and BOV? Or Intake/Exhaust/Piggyback/Wastegate/Boost Controller.

Either way the SRT should beat the 740. 250hp in a neon > 350-400(?) in a Jew Canoe

if the 740iL is in any shape and had a little room to run, that neon would have to be pretty worked over to run with it, fwd v rwd ?

RWD doesnt mean an automatic win, especially when you weigh 1500 lbs more, and only have an extra 40 hp, a small amount of which you lose in the drivetrain exchange. It would only help off the launch, after traction is found its more of a hinder than advantage in straight light situations, which is what we obviously have here.

SRT with I/E/WGA/MBC/AFC = ~300whp and even less traction
SRT with Traction bars/Bushings/suspension and above mods = ~300 whp with lots of smoke

Anyway you cut it, from a dig, SRT will spin like a bitch. From a roll, SRT can destroy a lot of cars with a little extra boost.

Exactly, the 740 probably makes no more than 250 to the wheels, and weighs 1500 lbs more. Traction will suck from the start, but once its found the weight and power of the srt-4 will blow the 740 away.
Saying the 740 should win if you give it some room b/c its RWD is senseless, bc while FR may help on the launch, once the srt-4 recovers 250whp, 2800lbs, FF will own 250+whp, 4200lbs, FR unless its the driver who's at fault.

And it still sucks, but its gettin better, but both cars would own me so I do suck waaayyy worse lol

It wasnt a red SRT4 w/ black rims and LED tails was it... cause that kid's a douche bag and would try to race a SVT Cobra if it pulled up next to him
