I'm confused, I received a 3111 ticket for 107 dollars and a careless driving 3714 for 75 dollars, the cop said both of them are no points, but a 3714 is 3 points. But, everyone I know who has gotten a careless driving the fine was over 100 dollars. Am I not going to get points, because the fine is only 75 dollars?

The fine amount does not mean anything...fines are different depending on where the ticket was written and who writes it because they often include costs on top of the fine amount that are partially up to the discretion of the officer. If the ticket actually lists "3714 - Careless Driving" as the offense, then yes it is a 3 point ticket.

FYI... I won today in court against this ticket :D
