Whats new with you?

I've spent the last 2 hours reading up on what it takes to become a doctor. I've decided to go to college. I'm gonna go premed/nursing for my first three years and then see if i can take an early acceptance test to get into med school. It's mega science workload but i'm sure i can manage. Tomorrow i'm going to meet with an admissions counselor at my local college. I know what ive got to do. Ancient chinese proverb says, a journey of a thousand miles must start with a single step. That's often the hardest step of all.

Good for you. School is always the best way. Everyone says it's useless now but it's not. Employers are still looking to see if you have that paper saying you graduated. Good luck.

Congrats. However, I hope this wasnt a decision you made within 2 hours. These kinds of things require lots of time to decide upon

It's ok, even if it is a rash decision, he will never go wrong with the choice of staying in school. The only problem with a hasty decision on the major is that he may not like it and when/if that happens he can just switch majors.

Good Luck with being a Doctor. I am currently in school for Business/Marketing and plan on finishing with a BBA in Marketing but I would someday like to go back to be a lawyer. Maybe a couple of night classes for a bunch of years, I might be done by the time I'm 40 lol.

Im being realistic with him. I support the fact that he wants to go back to school, cause hes a really cool dude and can definately do it, but REALISTICALLY if you change your major because you dont like it, some of your credits might be lost..

Yeah man I'm working on another year and a half probably. After this semester I'll have 84 credits which means if I take 15/semester for 3 more I should be ok. Long as I can get all the classes at the right times and not mess up lol. What are you going for.
