Have you ever used it? Check autopia for how to use it. The polish is pretty useless without a PC but the wax is very esay to get on and off, just use it in thin coats

The Souveran Wax paste is best for dark colors (red, blue, black). Souveran Wax liquid is better for medium/light colors (white, yellow, gray). Apply the paste by hand. Heat it in your hands to get it soft then apply evenly.

You know what you are talking about but I would seriously recommend a foam pad and a PC for best results for the wax and polish! I use a PC with a Sonus pad kit, Sonus 3 step and Pinnacle wax on top! It is unmatched. Zaino will bow down on dark colors!

Edit: If you don't want to spend the extra money and get Porter Cable just use the foam applicators to apply the paste wax (only), and buy a good polish applicator for what looks like a cleaner wax? If you are looking for a good polish for dark paints I would suggest 3M Perfect-It for dark paint, this stuff will work well with just elbow grease and a microfiber towel or applicator without a orbital and will remove minor marring!

Best way to apply wax is by hand. PC for everything else.

Wax takes me 30min or less on and off, its just the prep work that leads to the wax that takes time(and if you are as OC as me can be hours)

Everyone has their own technique and what works right for them with less effort.

I wax cars all day, 15 min tops on my own car. Personally Ive found that kits that provide steps work best for the person who washes few and far between. No matter what buffer or application you use it still will last no more than a few weeks for the person who washes often. In that case though the person who washes often doesnt mind reapplying. I wash my car at least 2 times a week and wax after every good wash. i use extreme solutions carunuba 2 times a month and extreme solutions elite gold liquid carnuba for most other washes.

I've spent hundreds of dollars testing out different wax/sealants/polishes. I just passed on Souveran. I've found that EXP (EX for lighter colors and neutrals) and S100 are the best cost effective combo out there. EXP lasts forever and the S100 requires some elbow grease, but it just adds so much depth. I've also come to love my cyclo more than the PC. Everybody raves about the PC, which is an awesome machine, but the cyclo just gets the job done better. Btw, whats your usernames on Autopia? Glad to see some passionate detailers.
