have you looked into getting the integra type-r header instead of the edelbrock? i mean since you plan on running itr internals, why not run the header that honda 'engineered' for that motor. id also get this for the header to prevent it from getting messed up from hitting the ground http://www.heeltoeauto.com/Fastline-...te-pr-151.html . i would also recommend upgrading to some itr pistons, either stock bore or the .25mm over pistons.

let me know if you have any other questions

uhmmm... edlebrock makes a fantastic header!!!!! Compared to say a DC header or others Eadlebrock OWNS!!! Also most company's that mke ITR replica header are not true. a REAL itr header does make good power.. but don't buy a replica. If you want a cheap header then go with the edlebrock and run a 2.5 collector !!!!! If you don't know what or how to do this let me know I can guide you through it....

but if you got big bucks then get a RMF or SMSP or Spark or Sigma Six header... they are all top of the line headers.. but run $$$$.

and damn i just sold my ITR cams and omplete valvetrain... i would suggest putting in some JDM b16 pistons with supertech valve train and skunk2 cams...

-i wasnt plannin on gettin a replica itr header
-i like the edlebrock since its fairly cheap
-is the usdm itr header a 2.25" collector? because i know the jdm is 2.5". also would that be a big difference in tq n hp with the usdm itr headr over the gsr 1.

-I want to keep my stock cat

im thinkin goin with type-r internals since they r oem n will be cheaper than skunk2 cams n other internal parts

im not tryin to have a lot of motor work done since im goin away to college next yr so i might not even have my car with me

usdm and jdm itr headers are both 2.5" collectors.
ssr, hytech, smsp, an-r, etc all give out great hp numbers, but they break the bank. some of them will not clear any a/c or power steering stuff either. id suggest upgrading to a high-flow cat, the stock cat will restrict a little more than the high-flow

he said he didnt want to lose the cat though. thats why i said to run a higher flow cat. when your building a mild n/a build, every hp counts .

buy cheap parts and run like ****... if you want to make power build right!!! But I guess it all depends on how deep into it you wanna get... if you just looking to throw on a CAI, header and exhaust and drive around and make noise.. then it dont really matter which header you buy... a good header would be a ITR header.... DC headers are garbage.. point blank... you have a gsr.. either you bump up your compression or spray/turbo it.... and build around that

best bang for the buck would be a ITR header...http://www.kteller.biz/product.asp?n...hFor=&PT_ID=93 there you go... $206

i know i have to build right n im not tryin to make noise

thats why im lookin to buy a edelbrock header since its proven 9hp gain over stock
n im tryin to see what options i have without spending big $$ on a header i want money for internals

that link is for a megan replica jdm itr which u said earlier not to get a replica
