3M clear bra

I'm looking for something to apply to some parts of my aero kit after it gets painted so it doesn't get chipped up super fast. I'm only going to apply it where the tires would kick up rocks, dirt and burning rubber.

I can't find the 3M stuff in universal sheets just in specific applications. What else can I use that is clear and can help save my paint and won't yellow over time?

maybe it would just be easier if you just ordered the parts you need. i know for a fact that solargard and suntech both carry these products and i'm pretty sure that you can just order certain pieces, only down fall is i think you need to order it through a company. hope that helped somewhat

I know what your saying. My brand new fresh paint job with like 2,000 miles on it got chipped up behind the tires right away. I took it back to have all the bumpers repainted and he is applying a flex primer and harderner in the clear or something where it would chip, to prevent it from chipping ever again!

When my car was black I had the body shop put that 3m clear stuff your talking about on. The problem with that was that it stuck out soo much and looked like ****, so I ripped it off. lol

Do you think it would look that bad with the light silver that is on my car?

I'll have to talk to my painter again. He was telling me about some stuff that you can spray on that is clear and won't chip or see what he can do to help prevent it.

DCHunny5. I'm not looking for specific pieces just universal stuff that I can cut and apply. I'll look up those companies that you mentioned though and see what they carry.

the stuff your painter is talking about is what I just had done. He taped it off really nice and you can't see it. Looks good.

I had it on my eclipse back in the day and I never ever had chips.
