Coilovers for EVO

Recommend me a nice set of coilovers around $1,000 for an Evo. I plan to keep my BBS and just need to fill some wheel gap but don't like lowering springs. I will be attending events in the spring.

lets do some teins ss coilovers

High performance and cost effective.

* 16 levels of damping force adjustment (compression and rebound together).
* Ride height adjustable.
* New paint coating for rust prevention.
* Pillow ball mounts are optional (on certain applications).
* Exclusive design for USA vehicle specifications (only available for the U.S.A Market).
* Available for overhaul.

Go Mullerized JIC's or Robispec KW's. A little more mony but you wont be dissapointed especially at the track.

I had SS's on my Integra they were notas good as some Koni or Tokico set ups

ss are great based on his budget of 1000 dollars. mullerized jic;s or robispecs are awsome (better) but also like 1000 more

Also you can buy the same thing robbispec or mullerized sells from the manufacturer, most of what they do is set up and other components that work with the coilovers..For under a grand I'd go with the tiens or even megan..

Look at these also.

Just giving you more options. I've been reading around on some of these and everybody seems to be happy with them and some didn't notice a difference between the sets. I'm looking at the Stance coilovers right now, but I'm going to do more reading on them. I have time no rush for me.

STANCE! +1 - they're in illinois i believe and no one ever complains about them

if u get ksport - dont get the ebay BS ones (kontrol) - get the gt Pros or the circuit pros (remote reservior dampers) - the ksport/fullrace car just set a track record on the circuit pros at willow, and pir. they're located in arizona for rebuild/revalve/upgrade

KTS - from spl are also badass - kuah hooks people up too... those things have HARD damping tho so its gonna be stiffer than the others. they send you all new replacement dampers for 550$ - all new stuff u just drop in

Teins are always there - i think they rebuild em in california????

JIC's are really nice - they seem to blow frequently on S13/14s (probably because of the way the cars are driven and run into stuff) - 2g guys are having good luck with those so id expect a similar damper for a evo.

megans start to squeak and act funny after 6 months.

do you have a friend with a set of coilovers on a evo that you could take a ride with??? thats probably the best way to determine what u want.

why have you ruled out lowering springs to lower your car? too soft?
