fake.

I actually had a friend commit suicide by running in front of a train, and you do NOT bounce off.

According to Physics, you could bounce off. A slight change (maybe 1/10 mph) in the train's speed, the change in momentum (change in velocity times the mass) is HUGE, so it would impart an equally large change in momentum in you. Your mass is tiny in comparison, so you'd fly off. However, you also have to consider the length of the lever arm and torques, so... without getting too technical, it depends. You could bounce off...

cliff notes: you can bounce off a train when you're hit by it. The only question is, would you be run over before you accelerate (kinda like the whole deal of pulling out the tablecloth and having all the plates stay on the table).

This is real. Its an edited version off of the original one. It was one of the first dvd's that had crazy deaths and ****. It was called Banned from television. my buddy had it when I was in high school. Creepy ass movie. A must see. Sorry to hear about your friend, but this vid is real. And that train wack noise wasn't part of the original.

I'm not buying that it's real, just because it was on a dvd.

But....if the majority say it's real, I guess I will just go along with it. I have seen the effects of a fast moving train vs. human and it's just not the same. Maybe they edited the video to make the train appear to be traveling faster?

who knows.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM, I think I'll pass on watching people off themselves.

However, I will take your word that this is real. So she died? Or no? It didn't look TOO brutal from the video, no blood or anything.

no, that video on this link was totally butchered. In the dvd, you see everything fly everywhere. hahahaah. well if you've ever seen anyone get hit by a car and fly 30 feet... they have nothing on the train hit.

From the video posted, it literally just looks like someone bouncing off a train with no side effects. Maybe that's why I say it's just not possible.

And actually, 99% of the time, when you hit a person dead on at a decent speed, they go through the windshield or up and over the car.

I saw a couple deer get leveled by a train...The only way to explain it was that 1 second there were 2 deer. The next second there was a red explosion and red mist everywhere!

Unfortunately, that is the same observation that I have made with people.

There are actually tons of videos of "real" executions and suicides online. It's not hard to fake someone shooting themselves.

I understand that you can make things look real. This dvd was released in 1998 and compiled from years of Real as in Real situations and events. Just rent the dvd and look up each event. They give detail to each scenario and is legit. Some of its boring on the video, but majority of it is "Holy Sh**" hahaha.
