Whats up with the driver? Passing a cellphone aroung while racing? I think it may have been too much for him.

the guy is not a good driver. just a really rich guy with a fast car

the car heel toes for him! all he does is flick the downshift and steps on the brake, the car rev matches for him

Yeah, not impressed at all by his driving. You can tell the car can take so much more than what he was giving it. Going pretty slow. The CAR is just that much faster than everything else out on the track.

wasn't to impressed with the driving, I thought he was gonna loose it at 2.40, ive seen alot of pictures or the car in red with the white strip, I deff. think the black looks better

WHAT A FREAKIN NUT!!!! Maybe he wasn't the best driver, but to take the FXX around a course where it was SUPPOSED to be, is a VERY cool thing to see. **** the museum!!! In all honesty, I didn't know how to feel the first 5 times that I watched the vid. I was either thinking, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS LUNATIC DOING DRIVING THAT CAR AROUND A TRACK?!?!?!??!?! or THANK GOD SOMEONE DRIVES THE CAR WHERE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DRIVEN!

awesome freaking car. Actually, to say "awesome freaking car" would be doing the fxx a huge injustice.

I agree, and as far as the driving I dont think he was that great of a driver but its probably a difficult car to drive well, if you notice I think he was scared because he was usually up shifting going into corners for fear of keeping the revs too high.
either way it is very cool to watch

Ha, he almost lost it like six times, each time he accelerated out of a corner. Car rev matching aside, it would still be cool as hell to own one.

That thing sounds disgusting. But yea, one hand on the steering wheel? I'd be scared ****less driving with that guy.

And it appears with that thing that if you want to be quick putting your foot down, you have to be very quick with countersteering.

Awesome car.

Did you guys know that even after you buy this car Ferrari wont let you keep it???? They store it for you. You tell them what track you want it at and when you want it there. THey will ship it to the track and them take it back to ferrari when you are finished racing. I guess they want to keep most aspects of the engineering within the company.

Edit-- Just watched the whole video. It looks like he is terrified of that thing. Look how fast he moves the wheel and how slow his corner exit speeds are. He is running good lines through the course so he's not a bad driver, just scared to death.

I have to agree on his driving skills. Probably not the best with that upshifting into turns. I love the sound of that thing. I read an article once about how the enzo is so smart its kinda like any one can just jump in and drive it, well maybe not ANYONE. Also, it has that rev-launch feature when you want to start off fast it sets the optimal revs for a launch no matter how much gas you give it...

For owning a FXX he was doing pretty good. What people don't realize is how fast that car really is. Since the video is only shot from the in car point of view, you really don't have a sense of speed. Granite that car has a lot more potential, but not many people are going to be able to take it to 10 10ths.

i think thats bull, if i paid a **** load of money for a car you can dam well be sure its gonna be kept in my garage. Ferrari will trasnport it for you if you dont want to drive out to a track in the car. But there is know way they wont let you have the car the title is in your name.

Think about it this way; since the car is not street legal, there isn't a need for it at "home." Some of the other services Ferrari offers with that car include factory techs as your personal pit crew as well as proper instructors to help assist the owners during their driving experience. Understanding Ferrari's concept behind the FXX is more important than arguing about parking it in a personal garage.

All I know is that Ferrari will not let you keep the car at your own facility. When you buy this car you are more or less buying the privilage to drive it. If I had the oppertunity I'd do it. It's probably the closest most people will ever get to driving an F1 car.
