Thanks! I've always been a bit partial to Alpine White e46 m3's myself... I have dove gray vader seats, but I really want to throw in the Recaro SRD's from my '95 M3. They are black though, so I would have to get them recovered...

My '95 was more aftermarket than BMW... The '99 is pretty stock for now, so far the only things worth listing are: Brembo 4 piston calipers, stainless steel brake lines, Hawk HPS pads, Euro E46 M3 cross cast 2 piece rotors, BBS RCJ wheels (18x8 front, 18x9 rear), Bridgestone SO3's 235/40/18 (f) and 255/35/18 (r), Blanton 3.46 race diff with 40% lock, Ben Fer Carbon Fiber intake... I am pretty sure I am going turbo, so I am holding off on doing any futher modifications. As for DTM power... I have been there since way before it was DTM, been a moderator there for about 5 years now. I have the same screen name there as I do here. Are you modded?

nice, are you going with the AA turbo? Am I modded?? LOL ... as we know the S54 is strung out and waiting to explode... nah j/k... I only have an AA exhaust right now... but have plans for headers + Section 1 + 2 , and software this summer. I got a intake lying in my garge that I'm too lazy to install. Hopefully after getting that all on, I can get superchips to custom tune my car. I really want to go with an AA supercharger but would rather wait until I put some more miles on my car before I completely void my warranty.

Well right now I am torn between going with the Techniques Tuning stage I kit... 340whp @ 8psi on an otherwise stock car. There is a lot more power to be had with the M50 intake manifold and a proper exhaust... Then I could always lower compression and run 12-14psi... OR I have been seriously thinking about selling the M3 and getting an STI.

I would imagine your M3 would be pretty fun once you opened up the intake and exhaust... not to mention how nice it will sound... I haven't really looked into the AA s/c for the e46, but I recall it yeilding some respectable numbers.

Yeah, sometimes I want to trade in my M3 for an STI/Evo and take the change and put it in the car, I'd have a 600hp car.

Dinan is soooooo overpriced... not worth it at all. And that goes for pretty much all their products.

Was it an e36 or e46 chassis m3? e46 m3s run low 13s stock.

Yea theres a whole bunch of controversy over that Car and Driver shootout....but as far as I know, Alvarez, one of the technicians from AA said the car wasn't exactly running right...it was the E46 chasis. With the blower, the should easily run at least mid 12's. http://www.e46psi.com ...go and check out the vid of the pheonix yellow M3 on there...he pulls easy on BPU supra....not exactly track times, but, good for some reference.
