My Favorite Car Ever

This has to be one of the finest cars I have ever seen. This thing is all buisness.

For those of you that don't know, it has a Hasselgren engineering race motor in it. These motors are used in Toyota Formula Atlantic open wheel racecars and cost allmost 50,000$

_______The bottom line______

250WHP 148ft/lbs Tq N/A!!!!!!
9,500rpm redline
PERFECT 50/50 handling

My favorite thing about this car is that it's not a drift car. This is a true road racer.

Ok not to be "that honda guy" but unless you are really into racing this thing--- its not THAT impressive...

250whp is obtainable for under 10k in a hatch which is comprable to the weight--- and if you want to build a true race motor there are k series motors that have 350+whp NA! (safely reving to 9500+)

This is not about how i dont respect the work and originality or the fact that he can park that place I can never dream of and it wont get stolen--- but 45k for 250whp is RETARDED. I would rather have an M3 for the money he put into that thing....

Other then that the car is beautiful

They do this on all F1 cars. The reason is to give the air slightly more time to mix with the fuel as the intake air increases velocity , BUT this really only starts to become really effective around 8-10K RPM. Not very practical unless you are running duel injection and only switch the high injectors on under high RPM. You would not want to run them at low RPM as this is one of the main reasons F1 cars have to idle at 5K RPMs.

The problem is having fuel injected out in the open under your hood is not really endorsed by Smokey the Bear. The ideal injector length above the valves increases as the engine revs (really intake air speed) increases.

Here is a vid of a F1 Renault engine. Note the injectors:

So if injection setup for 86 is similar but the redline is at 9.5K, that would mean the idle would have to be high as well? I couldn't see any second injection on there.
Another thing i am wondering is if the distance of the injectors would that make a difference. I am sure that the 86 was tested and re-tested for the best set up but i am still confused about this.

I think I am in love.

In all honesty, I couldn't see it being a street/straight line monster.

AutoX and track? Hell yeah, the thing would rip.

I still love the thing though.

Engine sounds cool but 250whp na from a "race" motor doesn't really do anything for me. As for the car itself that definately doesn't do anything for me. "Race" cars with door cards, carpets, radios, and glove boxes aren't really race cars sorry for being a party pooper but i am not as easily impressed by wannabe race cars.

i agree with the race motor thing....i can get 250whp with a set of cams in my otherwise stock motor. the car does look real fun though and i wouldn't mind having it. they probly just gave it 250whp to be a good reliable motor, and nothing to wild that will blow up.....
