yesterday me and my cus headed over to the schoolparking lot and he let me take over....it took me like 10 minutes before i was able to start without bucking or squeeling the tires but after that it was just little stuff like getting into the gears withoout looking and etc......so where was ur first time and wat car

P.S. it was a vw golf 01 with neuspeed exauhst...nuthin special

02 VW TDI (90hp FTW!) on a hill in some parking complex. I am currently teaching my girlfriend how to drive a stick (94 GTI 2.0L).

I really don't like driving an auto anymore simply because i get bored very quickly.

Congrats. I learned in a 97-98(maybe) Mitsubishi Mirage. The gears were worn down pretty good so I looked like a pro shifting gears. hahhaha.

I learned on a 02 Spec-V in the Levitts parking lot. I got the hang of it right away, but it had so much bottom end torque that as soon as you let out on the clutch it would start to go.

I got a story for this one...many years ago i worked at apartment complex on the side...tennant died and family told my friend to get rid of his car. Anyway my friend gives it to me and my buddies....chevette 5sp. I figure out how it works and start teaching my buddies....after a while we tried to sell the car even though we never had a title. Friend of mine buys it and starts heading home..the clutch goes totally so he leaves it in a parking lot..next day the thing is gone so we figure oh well.... few weeks go by and my friend from work calls all panicked an asked what happened to the car...we told him it was gone...turns out they found it a 69th st with a body in the back of it!! the cops went and raided the dead guys apt. LOL
