this is at the dyno i went to last weekend, i'm at the table, can't really see me... and my bf is in the car. i just think it sounds sweet and it usually makes more horsepower, but it was hot and humid. i think he may be dynoing again tomorrow...

yea... no wonder he thinks my car is quiet with exhaust. my car doesn't even compare to v8's. i do love that car though.

this is all i know of it having... its got a pully, of what diameter im not sure, longtube headers, offroad xpipe and magnaflow exhaust, diff brace, line lock, adjustable short shifter of some kind, tubular k member, fox body a arms, weld skinny's and MT drag radials for the rear. it ran 11.5 the last time at the track, we were supposed to go to beaver springs today for a track rental, but didn't cause of the rain.

tires? i thought he was burning coolant

runs good for what it is, it doesnt' get too much better than 11.50's with those mods. props to him for a good setup! i saw the irs brace listed, but how is the clutch/ stock axles holding up on that thing? i'd imagine not good if he raced it alot but i could be wrong.

he hopes to run better then 11.5 since that was earlier in the summer before he took it apart... he just did the clutch then, and i have no clue about the axles? he might have more then that done, like some other little stuff, i just don't remember.

And definitely WAS NOT tire smoke...sorry but i really dont see a 400 hp car smoking em up on the dyno...now a 900HP car maybe lol

well considering that i was there and my bf got out and saw smoke and everyone said it was from the tires, i would think it was from the tires. he actually should be at the dyno again right now, we dropped the car off last night so its cool.

and just to mention... for all those who think vws are slow... well most are, but anyways, some of the highest hp numbers at that dyno were from vws, vr6 turbos, some street legal, some not, but they made 600, 700, 800,... some hp. the dyno specializes in lightnings and mustangs, but they get supras, old muscle, vws, etc up there, plus i saw some dyno sheets from go carts, lol.

dont know where the whole vw thing is... Im not gonna bash you but simply state my opinion..i have alot of friends with vw's ( a 2.0 golf, a 1.8t gli, a vr6 passat) they sit there and rag on my car because its stock...when they have thousands of dollars into their car and cant even compete with my car as it sits... so yes SOME vw's can be fast....but it costs twice as much to be fast... idk im rambling

Looks good. Cobra's don't take much to run that fun. I also think it was the exhaust and not the tires but either way nice video.
