FOXSports.com has learned that the Eagles today swung a trade with the Saints for former first-round pick Donte Stallworth in exchange for LB Mark Simoneau and a fourth-round pick that can turn to a third rounder if the Eagles can work out an extension with the receiver.

Stallworth, a free agent after the year, has been on the trade block for quite some time and the Saints had fielded offers from several teams, including the Patriots.

In 56 career games, Stallworth had 195 recepetions for 2,791 yards and 23 TDs. In Simoneau, the Saints get a player head coach Andy Reid regards as one of his favorites of all time a perfect complement to any locker room.

I still wish we picked up or will pick up Deion Branch from the pats and steven davis from the panthers. I'd say superbowl than

ok thats one step closer to having a better bunch of wide outs. ill deffinately be looking to pick him up as a wr on my fantasy team for the fact that donavan will have some one else other then LJ & stinky pink to throw to

Thats a good pick up. I think reggie brown is the future tho. I liked Simoneau, but i think it was a good move. Deion Branch would defintely be a nice addition as well
