Update- Debadged Pics

Last night I decided to debadge my car. It looks good for the most part, but in direct sunlight, or intense headlights, you can definatly tell where the letters were.

I was able to remove all of the residue from the glue holding the letters on. But after washing it several times and also using Meguires step 1 (cleans paint and removes residue) 3 times then putting on some wax (Meguires step 3), you can still tell.

I might try a rubbing compound next. Any other suggestions?

Much better Brian. Much better.

You may never be able to get the ghost out, some cars take more effort than others. Ask Ash, she has some stout ghost letters.
You could wet sand the entire trunk lid.

Why did you leave the WRX and little Impreza badge underneath? I took em all off.

Thank you!

It is hardly noticeable now and I figure after a few washes/ waxes it will almost completely dissappear.
