We've had a few new STs in the shop here for various upgrades and I really really like them.

If they had made it AWD, it would be really, really tough to resist getting one. But right now if I'm in the market for a 'hot hatch' and looking to spend $25-$30k, I'm still getting a WRX.

congrats man, interested to see how you like it.

I drove the crap out of one and loved how it intiates oversteer for a fwd car with the Torque Vectoring Control system that adds brakes to the inside front wheel. Rather than a heavy or complex limited slip differential that distributes more power to the outside wheel and less power to the inside wheel.

Now if they just did something better with the dash I might take one over a gti.

Thanks guys!

Love it so far...I drive it like an old woman 95% of the time and I'm getting 29mpg around town and of course it's got some balls when I get on it. It handles like a dream and whenever I take it to a track/autocross I know that barring my being retarded there will be no apex I can't hit. I was torn between ordering black or tangerine, and I'm glad I picked this cause it's orange in the sun, yellow at night, and somewhere in the middle at dawn/dusk.

Erik, when I get some more coin after my wedding I'll be stopping in with an Accessport and an intercooler for you guys!

Very nice! I love the ST's, been wanting one for a while. I wasn't sure about that color when it was first introduced, but after seeing it at a dealer once I liked it! Lots of luck with it!

These are the best designed focus' to date. Im a huge fan of the style and the way they perform. I have to say Im quite impressed with how ford stepped their game up. Congrats on the new purchase, I dont think I wouldve picked that color but Im a fan.

I'v heard a lot of 370z owners complain about this because they said their brakes fade noticeably faster.

I can't understand why Ford won't bring the Focus RS to the US to compete with Mitsu and Subuaru....

mustang killer. can't have their precious stang being beat by a FWD euro car. that's why the last ST didn't come over. turbo 5cly tq monster. stupid stangs.

I have 22K on my ST now. I love the damn thing. I have a drop in filter,SCT tune and muffler delete. It's good now except my front tires seem to be bald

I can pull on lightly modded MS3's. it's fun

Yeah i went to test drive one and i thought it was garbage. Now i am not bashing on your car or anything just personal opinion. But i was too the floor in 2nd 3rd and 4th on a test drive and the thing was not going anywhere. I drove a 13 speed 3 and dont see why anyone would pay the money for the ford. I was quoted at 22,500 for a 2013 speed without the radio upgrade. Power and TQ wise i don't think you can get any better numbers (HP/TQ and price) for a 2013 car then the speed 3 for 22,500

Very nice car, it was between this and the MS3 for me as well. Never got a chance to drive the focus. The speed has it's quirks, but i was after the more raw feel of the speed, plus the true LSD was nice plus price. The interior in the focus looks a bit nicer though. Good luck with it, I got my speed with 5 miles and have 3300 on it now. It is sad...
