see wat the cost is vs. effect after an insurance adjuster comes out! You may only have to pay a deductable. I had well over $5000 worth of damage on my wrx with me being at fault. Cost me a $200 dollar deductable and that was it. Good Luck karl, sorry to hear this.

Wow dude, sorry to hear about the car!

I would definatly strip it and then wait to see what the insurance adjuster says.

Glad to hear your ok. Sorry to hear about your car. Good luck with everything.

My opinion is buy it back and fix it yourself.

Glad you're okay, the car can be replaced.

On the note of buying it back, see what the numbers are first. They might want 10k for you to buy it back for all you know, wait and see (slightly exagerated). Also, maybe its not even totaled. The'll fix anything these days if the value of the car is high enough.

So wait...Not to sound like a Prick...Because I believe it to be possible...But you spun out an AWD car?

Even with my tires wet I have a hard time Getting Sideways.

Bald tires?

Sorry to hear about the Car...It just seems like you would have to be TRYING to wreck it...And no i'm not saying AWD is accident Proof. I'm simply amazed that it happened with Just wet tires.

It happens very easily once you mod an AWD. When my car was stock, it was impossible to make the tires spin, but now that I'm Stage 2 it doesn't take much to make them spin and lose traction.
