Soon to be the fastest car on the road..

TranStars Racing Dagger GT....
http://www.gtr-xs.com/index.html

Race models::
TranStar Racing has announced three “Race” packages as follows:

Dagger GT-R will be our road racing package, with a 2000 hp engine, FIA safety package, dynamic, split rear wing, set up to challenge and establish new lap records at Virginia International Raceway and at Nurburgring, Germany.

Dagger GT-LS will be our land-speed package with our 2700 hp engine, 500 mph rated M/T landspeed tires, 1000 pounds of low front-end ballast, full bellypan with twin venturi tunnels, land-speed wheel covers, intake aero plugs, parachute, backup chute, Bonneville rollcage and a range of other options to help our buyers set new landspeed records in excess of 315 mph/500kph. Options will include landspeed instrumentation/avionics packages, base radio, windshield options and other possibilities.

Dagger GT-D will be our drag racing package with our 2700 hp engine, Goodyear Pro Stock Slicks, or DOT ET Drag tires, hydraulic-launched double drag chutes, drag wing, NHRA rollcage, drag racing transaxle, a drag racing rear suspension that will emulate a Pro Stock Dragster and enable 205 mph in the quarter mile for our friends who love to drag race. We are also shooting for the 1900 hp Nissan Project Zed car’s 1.2 seconds in the zero-to-sixty mph. We also want to hit 280 mph to set a new Standing Mile record, (76mph faster than the Bugatti Veyron at 204 mph in the Standing Mile.)

STREET:

The Dagger GT-S will be our “Sport” model, a 50-state street-legal 600 to 800 hp version of the GT-R model. The owner can specify his/her suspension preference and interior design features.

The Dagger GT-SS is our “Super Sport” model that can be outfitted with either our 2000 hp or our 2700 hp racing engines. Our plan is to try and get the 2000 hp engine to meet EPA emissions by 2013.

The Dagger GT-X will be our luxury model with the engine of your choice and sall the interior luxuries imaginable and specified by the owner. This model has about 300 pounds of insulation and sound-proofing material to give it the feel and sound suppression associated with top-end luxury motorcars. Suspension may be soft, sport or race, as preferred by the owner.

Opinions??? Some rich guy who doesn't care about numbers is gonna own one of these

I'm not impressed. Anyone with money can just buy a car like that. No pride setting records in a car you didn't design/build/tune yourself.

Theirs a vette running around with a nelson motor dont know the specifics of the motor but it sounds insane. Honestly nicest sounding motor I have heard to date made something like 1000 hp on low boost. The guy that owns it road races the vette.

That's insane. Road racing at that hp is a waste as well. Unless he detunes it 1000hp means he probably can't get the powerband best suited for those twists and turns. I wouldn't mind hearing a sound clip though.

This. Sad but true, that's why they are designed the way they are though. It guarantees that dealerships stay in business.

Do you guys seriously think this is real or is ever going to be made? I wouldn't be surprised if this is just a student project.. Just look at the specifications..
