Its not a good idea to get it done. Your better off with a new flywheel. Clamping forced some times gets weaker unless they take the same amount of metal that's where the pressure plate bolts up to...

Why wouldn't you just buy a new one? Flywheels are so damn cheap, you will probably end up paying just as much or more to get it resurfaced. That is why we live in a world of replace instead of repair.

you can resurace it, some require a two step process. Just make sure you shim it using OEM shims as per a MFGR specs in the FSM
