As long as you see no damage and you washed it off and polished it, it should be fine.

I would just use dish soap, or goo gone. I had a hell of a time getting egg off my paint because it was sitting at a guys house getting worked on and got egged to hell on Halloween and i only knew about it like 2 days after he got home from vacation so the damage was already done.

I went out an used goof off that my girl friend had.

Than while I was using it I reallized that I had some wax and grease remover still, and its almost the same thing.

Anywho, all the sap is gone now, thanks, Ive been driving around for months with it all over the car, and it looked like birds were always ****ting on my car.

I kept thinking I need a clay bar, but to busy to go out and spend 20 bucks on it.

Nail polish remover and steel wool are your friend. I occasionally use aircraft remover for the really tough stuff like bird droppings. Having a good, sharp knife or flathead screw driver handy can be helpful as well

^^ there is always one ****head.

I would try wd40. It is mostly fish oil and great for removing stuff like that.

you can use nearly any OTC solvent, paint thinner, wd-40, etc. Just have to make sure not to leave it on long, or leave residue. Goo Gone etc is solvent based. same with tar/bug remover.
