I picked up a CF hood for my 2004 Scion xB. The CF hood has some uv damage, and i'm looking to have it sanded and recleared. Also, its had vinyl decals on it for a long time, and the difference is very apparent with them removed.

Can anyone here take care of that, and about how much would it cost?

Edit: I'm in NE Philly, and looking to keep this semi local.

I know of a shop that redoes CF.

Supposedly you cant reclear it. Its the resin gel that gives itthe gloss.

Not sure where you heard that but, I've personally recleared a few CF hoods, and evo wings and it does work. I don't have time to do it myself (busy with work and my house on weekends) but I can refer you to my buddy who is doing side work. Has been a professional painter for 10+ years and has done magazine cars. PM me if you would like his number.

^^ wheres he located? i really dont have the time to drive extremely far. I should have specified in the original post, I'm located in NE Philly and looking to keep it close to home.

I'm located on state rd between cottman n bliegh if u just want a sand n clear I can do it for 150-250$
