I just got a 50mm f/1.8 for my 350D yesterday. It's a shame the delivery guy came so late in the day because I was at a Miata meet before it came. But I went out for a little bit to see what I could get with it. I must say, I thoroughly enjoy it over the 17-85mm kit lens.

And one of the doggy.

On the last shot, you focused on the nose instead of the eyes.

when taking HDR shots, lock the aperture. It'll eliminate the edge fringing when overlaying the images in photoshop.

If you're talking about the front end shot, that's actually one photo with really crappy editing.
