Question Philadelphia Helicopter Tours

any one ever take one of these tours?

was looking at some photos on another forum and was interested in seeing if philly had one and apparently they do.

http://www.independenceheli.com/

there is also one over in jersey:

was thinking of doing the solo tour with independence heli, to go for a sweet view and also get some awesome photos. if another photog sees this and is interested in hitting one of these up as a group, hit me with a PM!

and if you have ever taken one of these tours, feed back would be appreciated. like was 30min too short or 1hr too long?

I didn't know they had heli tours of Philly. I'm going to do this soon for sure.

Knowing Philly very well and what might be interesting to see from above, I imagine 1/2 hour would be about right. Seeing the skyline, areas of Fairmont Park, Art Museum, the rivers, Ben F. and Walt W. bridges...over the Navy Yard area would also have cool views if they're allowed to fly over that.

On a related note, I've seen Niagara Falls many times from normal ground viewpoints since I used to spend my summers in Toronto area with my cousins who live there, and always pass N.F. on the way. But the most dramatic by far was once when I took a helicopter ride to see it. It started up the Niagara River, hovered down the river and you could see the rapids quickly developing, then more and more torrential until suddenly it was like the earth dropped out from under you and we were over the falls...breathtaking trip.
