Pulling over for call-in?

So this morning I was driving along minding my own business. Background on my car is that it's 2500lbs, has very short gears and a 4.1 rear end, and is turbocharged, so even under gentle driving, it will pick up speed quicker than most other people on the road just because of the mechanics of the car. When all was said and done, I was doing 50, maybe 55, not going any faster than the people who were a little ways behind me.

I get to the next red light ahead and see a Toyota Sienna van come cutting across 3 lanes to get to my right (I was in the middle lane of a 3-lane road). An old woman then proceeds to ask me if I'm in a hurry and starts making all sorts of smartass remarks like "if you get pulled over I don't care" and "you're stupid". While the light is still red, me and her get into a slew of bickering. I mention to her that it's stupid to cut across lanes of traffic and to mind her own business.

I've owned and driven this car for about 3 years and I've never ever had anyone before tell me that I was accelerating too quickly, never been pulled over, my question is if this bizzare woman called the police and told them I was "racing" or "in a hurry", would the police actually stop me to investigate? Just curious.

If a call for an erratic driver comes in yes will attempt to locate the vehicle and investigate

you really tried the "its my cars fault I accelerate to quickly" routine??
