Next Saturday my club is having our 5th annual ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) Club Car Show. Registration is $10 bucks per car/truck/whatever you wanna bring. More info is at our website.

We are having a Dyno this year as well so come on and check everything out!!! Admission is free!!!!!

UPDATE:

The Wilkes ASME Car show will now be on Sunday May 1st!!!!! I know this is the day of sonic, but we are forced to hold the show this day because poor weather this Saturday. Sorry for the inconvenience and hope you all can still attend!!!! Any questions please feel free to ask!

Also if you plan on running the dyno please be early since it will be first come first serve!

Note to everyone!!!!

My brother an I were going to come to it mostly for the dyno but yea sorry, I'd rather go to Sonic. Maybe if you rescheduled on a better date without another show going on the same date? You'll get a way better turnout.

Yeah I know and I tried to tell them that, but we are forced to this date since next weekend we are off for easter break. We would do it on April 30th, but Senior Projects are that day unfortunately and then the week after we have finals. Rain kills everything!!!

The following Saturday our school starts its final exams so I doubt the school would be able to clear the lot like they would for normal weekend days when hardly anyone is around, and the weekend after that we are done so most people that organize this will be on there way home. Also i'm sure the dyno people and other event venders also have other commitments.

I'm hopeful ASME still is able to get a good turnout from the crowd not associated with this site. Hopefully next year the weather won't cause any trouble and if they know about Sonic far enough ahead and can plan the dates better around we'll be able to have two great shows.

this would of been great, on the original date of the 4/16 but trust more people will be going to sonic as i am. Last year i won a laptop at the sonic meet. Maybe you should make it like 2 weeks from now.

We would have made it Saturday, but Senior Project presentations kill that plan unfortunately. Two weeks we won't have school, and one week after we are in the middle of finals.

You can blame rain for the cause of the date change lol
