Because small motors suck in heavy cars.

After seeing the 2013s... I couldn't by the previous gen.

The only thing different on the outside is the front end and hood...not much of a difference.

The biggest difference is the engine and some minor interior changes. For probably a 5k difference in a gently used 2012 vs a new 2013...probably not really worth it to many folks.

Aren't the 2013 direct injection too but to me I don't like the hoods on the new ones and the red on this one just won me over

Yeah that is what I meant by the engine is different. 306hp -> 348hp. In reality I've seen 2010-12 3.8's with full bolt-ons be at the same hp as the new GDI models with basic I/E.

Sure the new one might be a little quicker, but with buying the old one you can get some nice mods and a second set of wheels/tires instead of getting a stock '13 model
