I have to ask a stupid question about fittings...

On stainless steel vacuum line are the anodized fittings just hose clamps with a pretty shell? Or are there legit vacuum lines with real fittings? The reason I ask is cause I've been looking around and all the pictures are these vague far away shots, and I've only ever dealt with the fuel line with real anodized fittings, lol.

Its probably a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway.

They make them both ways... real AN fittings as well as hose clamps that have a cosmetic cover.
