I hope the OP did everything he could before going public like this. There's no turning back from this move, and it could ultimately destroy any chances of him ever getting his part or money back.

Also, I would never ever do business via text. The kids who are just a few years younger than me unfortunately became so addicted to text messaging that they never developed normal communication skills. There is definitely something with the person doing the work, but why didn't the OP call him? I find that so pathetic.

I would of flipped out and filed issue with paypal after 3 weeks of no text/calls or info on the proceedings.

he got his stuff back and done. only after the dude sent the product back the wrong color. then it was sent back to him and it was done right.

that thread we made got more than 50k worth of views from forums all over the place, lol.

yea, the OP had every right to do what he did. after this thread was made. it was also brought to our attention that the same powdercoat guy, had done the same thing on multiple forums and such. so he deserved it.

one of our members was peeling the guys whole life story back onto the boards...it was hilarious. then after his addresses and such were posted he expedited getting the OP his stuff, lol. thread was epic. if you guys have the time to burn read thru the whole thing, lol

Jeez, wish we had some douchebag on our site to help promote us hahah. But seriously, just skimmed threw the entire 51 pages(yep, nothing else to do). If it weren't for that forum, I bet the guy would have never received his valve cover. And why he didn't just go local in the first place doesn't make too much sense.
