In Car Nanny Cams??

Jalopnik has a pretty cool article up now, basically camera's are already installed in some vehicles. They have their foot in the door, and pretty soon I'm sure we'll all have a camera sticking out the top of our head sooner or later. This destroys the joy of driving.

Yep... I will never have a nanny cam in my car. I will refuse to drive if it comes to that. I'll be driving around some **** box before I have that intrusion.

hmmmmm....well either way, your privacy is invaded as it can see evertthing in the whole car. unless you put your mirrow down as low as it would go and cover it. and get a cheaper quote.
" you crashed, got rearended, but all the camera saw was black screne. well i guess your camera just **** the bed" lol
ill never get one.PERIOD even if it means saving a few bucks.

But shouldnt someone know you are off the radar?? We have basic GPS recording/relay in the company van, but it records back to my boss's desktop, ipod, bedside, whatever. If I were to fall off the map, it would be a issue the following morning. I don't give a F though, I know it is only for his satisfaction and I rarely swerve from radar without just cause.

But in my private car... I just had a dream I was blasting just under 100mph after I came in to PA south on route 1.... crazy thing is I had this dream the past 3 days. I'm here, I also do 5 under in residential just to piss peeps off. Wonder if they would cancel each other out???

Yes and no..... We have about 4500 vehicles in the fleet, and they only check if they think your stealing time, your pinged on speeding over 15mph above the limit 20 times a month, or there is an accident.

So I dont steal hours (no need to), I dont crash, and I watch speed so they dont look at me.

or cover it with tin foil. like the bags easy passes come in. so they cant transmit.

No, its bagged three times. It works on cell tower, put your phone in a static bag and watch the service indicator.

The whole idea is just ridiculous because can they then jack rates if you drive like an ass even without getting tickets or into an accident?

I just saw your car for sale on Ebay last night. My buddy was nutting over it and we saw the TST license plate frame and then I realized your username haha. Nice car BTW I never knew you had it.
