turbo b16 ef - new tires

i bought this car about 8 months ago with intentions of having a fun daily driver. purchased it with a mostly stock b16 swap

when i bought it i also threw on my own rims to drop the price a tad

on the way back home after buying it, it broke down on the highway about an hour from my house with no insurance

turned out to be the fuel pump which wasnt all bad since it needed to be replaced for what i was planning on doing to it anyway. picked up a walbro 255 pump and she ran perfect

about 300 miles later my drivers side motor mount broke causing my damper to grind against my traction bar. luckily i only had to replace my damper and motor mount and all was well again. around this point i realized this might not make such a great dd, so i parked it and started ordering parts to turbo it.

after a few months of selling basically everything i had i got it turbo'd.

rolled around like that for about 2 weeks because i couldnt figure out why it was overheating and the bumper trim blocked air flow. turns out my headgasket and all 4 ring lands didnt like my tuning, so they proceeded to crack on the way home one night. also, while working on it i somehow stretched out the cable to pop my hood and unfortunately a new one was too expensive, so after i pryed open the hood i was forced to put on some god awful hood pins

once again i parked it, sold a bunch of stuff to get some forged internals, just finished rebuilding it a little over a week ago which is why i figured id make one of these

mods:
-srp pistons
-eagle rods
-new oem bearings
-walbro 255
-57 trim turbo
-JRC 8" intercooler
-greddy type s bov
-35mm turbonetics deltagate
-2.5 - 3" dp to dumped exhaust welded by me
-all charge piping welded by me
-chipped ps9 ecu with BRE tuned by me
-crx dash and seats
-aem wideband
-spoolin performance cast manifold
-random junkyard mesh rims
-kyb shocks

up to date pictures tomorrow

the tanks on teh intercooler are a pretty bad design, they are just rectangles. Cool project, how can that little rad cool the car?

well, its a stock rad off of the newer civics, but it definately doesnt do it to well. at the top of the ic tanks there is a slope, but even then i know its a poor design, ive just had it laying around for awhile so itll work until i buy a better one

Eh, that isn't THAT ghetto, I've certainly seen worse. Looks like a fairly cheap solid turbo setup to me, nothing too bad. Nothing wrong with zipties, it's all I use on my car.

If anyone is wondering why the rad is like that, Civic half rads are too tall for EFs and they need to get pulled back to fit under the hood.

Wow, put a mesh grill infront to hide your intercooler and you would surprise a lot of people!

Damn I keep seeing my old car all over the place now.

I'm glad I sold it to someone who would take care/make it really fun.

Did you clean up the wiring? I'm proud to say I did NOT do that swap, lol.

haha, i cleaned it up a little bit but if everything goes as i plan i'll probably pick up a minty shell this winter and swap everything over so i'll just redo the wiring with a fresh harness

redid my charge piping to have less bends and make it easier to work with. also added a obd1 throttle body and had to use a shorter odyssey battery to let the new charge piping fit right

also tuned it to ~10 psi so im planning to go to the track soon to see what she'll do
