Smash!

Well my family's Stratus got rear-ended. Can anyone throw some guesstimates about whether or not this will be repaired or totaled?

But onto the pics

It got hit by a pick-up doing about 35, the car was stopped. All damage seen on the back was caused by the accident. Car is still drivable, and the alignment is not off. I'm not an expert, but it does look pretty bad to me. According to KBB, fair condition was $3,850.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's totalled. Seems like there is a decent amount of structural damage and the right QP looks pretty out of whack.

if you were rear ended it shouldn't cost you any money because normally the car that gets rear ended isn't at fault?

Edited first post to clear up confusion. I'm trying to figure out if the insurance company is going to total the car, or fix it based on the damage

Based on what I have seen at my job, that thing is totalled. With the right rear being pushed in and up and the right rear quarter being kinked like that its toast.
