DUI's

is it needed to hire a lawyer? my pop recently got booked when he went thru a dui check point...but idk what he blew still waiting on papers in the mail. i mean there no way he gonna get off easy but is the lawyer part needed since that gnna cost the most...can he get a public defender? anyone been thru this?

We can't advise whether to get a lawyer or not, that's totally up to him. It doesn't really matter what he blew, a DUI is a DUI and the offense is the same regardless if he blew a .09 or a .32...
