I think a meet/cruise is a great idea. Like I said in the other thread, Keith and I are in 100%.

I was just thinking the other day about how nothing has been set up or mentioned yet. Thank you for taking the initiative to do something so special.

I am down for cause regardless of the drive, I am fairly new to this forum so I don't know many people on it, when sherwood passed I joined it just to provide information and hear what people had to say. If you could be more specific 11secdsm to where your shop is located?

I think it would be best to hold it at a shop or a park. Penny (sherwoods mom) offered to pay for some of the food and refreshments. I really want to get something setup for him, sometime next month to remember him. He would really appreciate it and alot of people were close to him.

Depending on the time and location Imight able to arrange for a food giveaway. I hav friend trying to get his bbq ribs and pork sandwiches some recognition. If it would be ok with the people organizing this event I could try to have him set up a tent and some tables and give away food at the memorial.

Chris' would you be down to do it @ G.V.?

We can do something there (like the open-house was) and then if people want go for a cruise or something.

I don't want to impose, but it would make this whole thing a billion times easier.

Perhaps I could talk to the owners of the bar I work @, and see if they can do a beef and beer type thing to raise some money for his family?
