Stuff like this makes me want a new 5.0.....

drop in K&N air filter and a tune = 407 HP at the wheels.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJHjJtk_htM

It was 372 HP at the wheels stock and 407 HP at the wheels after the tune and K&N air filter. That's a 35 HP gain. Not bad at all. The car had aftermarket axle back mufflers on, but they haven't been shown to give any horsepower gains. They are just for the extra noise.

thats strange about the axle backs must be like the c6z's. not surprised by the gains im sure most of it came out of the tune though. im curious as to what the new boss's will make.

He was in business as a Ford shop before the term JDM meant what most people associate it with.

If I had a space to store a second car, I'd get this one for $22K and throw on my intake, some heads, cams, my headers, and a new intake manifold. The GR40 suspension is about $15,000 in parts alone and allows the use fo 315 width tires on all 4 corners. Its like getting the car for $7K.
