Verocious Motorsports transformed my GT-R
I know that Verocious is a board sponsor, so I thought I would let you guys know about the positive experience I had there. They have had my 2009 GT-R in two separate times for some aftermarket add-ons, and I have been pleased both times. The first time was a simple bolt on mid pipe which I brought them. They installed it quickly, and for a very reasonable price. The second time was for down pipes, intercooler piping kit, and a retune of the ECU. We had a lot of parts problems, which were my fault, as well as tuning issues which were due to a third party tuner. I had a deadline for the project, and Verocious did what they had to do and got the car done on time and for the quoted price. Tim and Dan over there were a pleasure to deal with. To often on forums, guys post bad experiences with shops, and not the positive experiences. These guys haven't worked on many new GT-R's and they still pulled it all together and made me a very happy customer. Whether its for your parts needs, or custom installer, check these guys out. Other than being a very satisfied customer I have no affiliation with these guys. Just wanted to give credit where credit was due. Kevin |

I have not had the car dyno'd yet. I need a linked 4 wheel dyno, and they aer not the most common form of dyno. What I can tell you is that bone stock I ran a 11.81 at 1123 mph. After just the mid pipe and tune, I ran a 11.27 @ 128. With the new downpipes and intercooler piping, along with a new tune, I hope to be below 11.0, but I haven't had time to go to the track yet.
I think that everyone talking HP numbers is fine, but to me, the bset way to see how fast the car is, is to put it on the track. So, after each round of mods, I put the car on the track to see the value of the mods. I have a track day on September 17th so if I don't get down to Cecil before then, I will have to wait until then. Its also hard to run the car becuase I don't have a roll cage and other proper safety requirements for cars below 11.5. So, each time I run, I get a warning, and then I get booted. Kevin |

Your a GT-R owner that i'd def like to talk to. Glad you out using it at the track (also the method i prefer) i just figured since it was at veracious then you had it on their dyno. So you trapped 123 bone stock? hmmm good to know
There was a red one at atco the other day when i went. Still haven't posted up the vids but without launching aggressively he was pulling 11.6 sec times at 120-121 and couldn't figure out if it was stock or not. How do you launch yours?

I didn't use the LC. I just mashed the pedal to the floor and took off. I also shifted in manual Mode. If I use LC, and auto mode, I am sure that I could shave more time. My personal outlook on fast cars is that it should be the same speed on the street as the track. So, when I am at the track I drive it the way I would on the street. Therefore, no race gas, no slicks, etc. I drive the car there, race, and drive home. Just my personal way that I enjoy my cars.

No worries Taylor. These cars respond real well to simple bolt ons. My long term goal is to be sub 10 seconds in the 1/4 mile. So, my plan is to modify the turbos within a year and get a lot of the other things out of the way within the year, such as injectors, larger fuel pumps, etc.
