Would you? v.wheels for my car...

Thinking about buying these, price is pretty reasonable...
SSR GT3s in 19... guy hasn't listed widths but I think its like 19x8.5 F and 19x9.5 or 10 rear (usual widths)... Theyre in good shape... Here's a pic on his car and my car is my av... same car but a slightly darker color.
What do you guys think? Will they look good?

Honestly they look alright, what are you talking about price-wise...that might change ones mind pretty quickly.

Price wise ... Without getting super specific... These wheels new were about 700 per wheel. The cust used is less than half that. And they appear to be in close-to-new condition.

Oh I know what they are new lol, SSR stuff has always been a tad on the higher-end side of wheel-prices.

But even so, in the 1500-2000 range, I feel like you could find cooler...but at the end of the day it's your call.

I dig... but I don't know how I feel about the color of the wheels being so much lighter than the car. But I'd say if they're a good price and they're in good shape.. go get em tiger.

I think the SSR GT3s look great on the e46 M3. However, they aren't very strong from what I've read and heard first-hand from owners. I also could have sworn they stopped making them, which would make it tough to replace?

If you aren't dead set on them, I have a set of used BBS RS-GTs I would let go for a steal. They have some road wear but nothing that couldn't get sorted out by a proper wheel repair place. There's a fantastic place in Bethlehem actually. Let me know.

EDIT: For reference purpose:

First, see if your thread belongs anywhere else on the forum. Then, stop and think about it a little more. If after your own personal double-screening it it doesnt belong anywhere else, put it here. Nothing automotive. Ever.

I think they look good...

but as I've come to realize with my SSR Comps, it just feels like something is missing without a BBK and nice rotors

Honestly... M3s with LMs or BBS wheels in general are a dime a dozen and while I won't argue about them looking good... They're played out and un-original in my eyes. I honestly really wanted GT2s but can never find em (out of production) and I like GT3s just fine.

I'm looking at em friday, asking price was $900 for wheels only, which is cheaper then LM replicas let alone anything else. I'm going to see how they look in person and go from there.

I think the GT3s look great. They are just soft. If you crack one on a pothole, good luck finding another one since they aren't in production anymore. There isn't a single SSR GT3 on E-bay right now, let alone a new set. This is the reason why I didn't purchase them when I had a 2005 M3.

I may be biased, but you can't easily beat 8,000T forged, ~21lb, 19" wheels as far as weight and strength unless you go with BBS, custom (RAC), or spend $8,000+ on Neez, etc.

Good luck with the wheel hunt though. I'm sure whichever wheels you decide upon will look great.

EDIT: The RS-GTs are 4lbs lighter per corner. 16lbs of rotational mass is like shedding a 112lb passenger at speed using a factor of 7:1, or roughly 1 car length (0.1s) in the 1/4mi. I'll stop selling now :D
