for swaps, its all rallispec. they get cars from all over, although there is a long waiting list because they are so popular.
if you want tuning, whats your setup and what engine management will you be running?

I second Xotic motorsports. Andy is the man. Very knowledgable with all aspects of Subaru's. I'm taking my car there after my engine swap to install ecutek!

right now I only have a Greddy EVO2 cat back, Weapon R intake.
was thinking about getting a header and highflow cat but I still want to pass inspection (unless you know a place that can let me pass ) so I remained stock for those items.
was planning to upgrade clutch and get a lightweight flywheel when I get the engine rebuild or just build it up.
as for engine management I'm leaning towards perfect power cuz I don't know if there's any other that will work for NA motor.

You should do the swap UnderpoweredRS did. 2002 WRX motor into his 98 RS. Thing is hella quick for just having a boost controller and intake.

Dude. dont waste your time and money on N/A stuff. save up for a swap or take that engine out and build it. For the cost of a swap you can get internals, lower the compression, and go standalone. Skully on www.rs25.com has a friend whos making 500whp on the ej25d block with all kinds of forged stuff.

But that would cost more than a swap plus mods.
I'm leaning towards NA is becuase it's going to be my daily driver and I commute 120 miles everyday to work. I just don't want to rebuild/replace the turbo every other year.
I've sent some email out to the vendors you guys mentioned, and so far only Rallispec got back to me.
Their swap is kind of expensive, compare to East Cost Swapper. but they are alot closer.

This does not imply they treat their customers with any sort of professionalism or respect. They could have the fastest STI in the country (Which they don't) and I still wouldn't go to them. Subarus are a rare animal when it comes to tuning and not just anyone can tune them properly.

Just ask TT why they have so many cars out back with leaves/sticks on them, broken windows, flat tires, etc. I can garantee you they aren't owned by TT and they weren't that way when delivered to them 6 months ago, but they are still sitting in the back. They take on any job reguardless of schedule or manpower. You just get lies and empty promises in return.

They also don't have a single "Subaru" specialist since Junior left them. There are just much better places to go as far as experience and professionalism goes.
