Thinking of buying a ZX14...Comments

Like the title says i'm thinking about buying a ZX14. I'd be making the move from a ZX10r that's lightly modded making 166.5 at the rear wheel. Thoughts guys ?

Dave

My dad had an 06 zx12. Loved it evey moment of it. He's been riding for over 30 years and highly praised that bike. I'm sure the busa beating power is fun.

Kawi makes some nice bikes, i just think the zx14 is hideous. I'd stick with a literbike. That new BMW superbike is gonna be close to 190hp.

it also costs the same as a ducati so u might as well get that lol, but i think the zx14 looks really nice when its modified, i rode with the guy from philly cycle center he has a sick zx14, its basically a really sporty cruiser, definatly more comfortable then my cbr, if youre looking for a chillin bike its a good choice, but if not the new zx10 is sweet and definatly has that straight off the track feel such as a 1098s

No, but then owning a 650 + hp street car isn't either. Thing is, some of us are just a little more extreme than others.

Thanks for the replies guys. I've decided to stay with the 10r.

Dave

you made a good choice lol i like the idea of the zx14 .. but im sorry they are hideous (but a plus is with little mods you can make stupid levels of power)

and yes we know we don't need the power but its still nice to have

LOL, I think i needed the power of my 750, my 40 hp sportster wasn't cutting it.
