I went out to Harrisburg area yesterday to check out my buddy Tom's truck. It is the same model as mine.... but WAT more radical. I'm convinced that it will climb/crush/destroy anything in its path.

The pictures dont do this truck any justice. some of the hills were like 50-60* snow covered inclines and it just crawled right over them.

It was a seriously fun day. There are endless places to go wheelin' out that way.

If anyone here reads Four Wheeler magazine, Tom's Jeep was in their Top Truck Challenge this year. He made a lot of contestants look real stupid with his truck.

Is this forked river? I remember john force and some others used to go there all the time. U still have that?

Yeah that's Forked River/Lacey Twnshp. I no longer have the truck.

I am looking into building a rockcrawling Jeep though. It's a project that interests me.

I dont have pictures of the other '72 which looked alot like yours. Typical grey primer over faded robin egg blue paint. When I first got it, it burned literally 1qt of oil every time I drove it. So it left a nice cloud of blue smoke everywhere I drove. I then received the approptiate nickname "pigpen"

Yeah, I had a wheel off for one day and the police put an "abandoned vehicle" sticker on it. Hence the name "ORPHAN".
