nice, i just picked up an 08, didnt think there was much to mod on them. coming from a wrx i was ready to do as much cosmetically as possible but didnt find much out there. one thing i do like is the aftermarket grills on these. like the lights too!

one thing i also wanted to research is the exhaust, what do most mazda guys go buy in terms of a catback that would at least give some purr, no fart cans though. thinking maybe a borla or magnaflow? something subtle looking.

I had magnaflows on mine. They sounded pretty good. My old one is in the sig. I actually moved to a wrx and I miss the mazda.

for parts for the 6 check out these sites:
therpmstore.com
corksport.com

they should have all your preformance needs.

as far as what you can do to it, your kinda limited, but there was just a tuner made for the car, someone on 6crew is selling it, around 900, but its the only tuning option for our car as of now.

Mangaflow sells one of the few exaust kits for our car, im problably just gonna make a custom one, its really like 3-4ft of piping and 2 mufflers so it souldnt run me that much, few hundred.

My plans?
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3377548

the hood, springs, exaust, rims, i have 250sq ft of carbon fibre in order for my interior, ordering a cf shift boot, ebrake handle, ebrake boot, and armrest cover, leds EVERYWHERE, strobes in headlights for shows, maybe a led underglow just for shows, weapon x coils and spark plugs, and a bunch more i cant name off the top on my head

I missed my 6! Nice emblem too! I was the one that started that "flying M" trend on the mazda6club forum. Guess it finally catch on to everyone

Wrong... I was running a microtech standalone on mine. Haltech also has a unit for the 6.

um...v6 or lil 4?

completely different engines, and bumpers on the car, the 4 banger has the same engine as the 3, which is easily modifiable, and there are tuners avalible

I'll be the first to admit when the HD lip looks good, but i'm really not feeling it on yours. Other then that it doesn't look to bad.

I see dub, but I see no dubs. You also painted your brake pads. The back of the pad is a cooling heat sink, which is not as effective now.

hah thank god, no more dub logo. I doubt the paint will do much on the pads, but if you put new pads on you should avoid that next time just incase.
