Interested in some honda work

Hey guys,

I got my del sol awhile back with a full turbo kit. I spent about 5 hrs installing it only to find that the turbo had bad seals. I ordered a new t3 and spend about 2 hours installing the kit again to find out that my DP was a wacky t3 5 bolt flange (possibly ford style). I ordered a new flange and i havent had time to get this car done.

I was wondering if you guys could do the following.

1) weld the new flange on the DP
2) install the full turbo kit
3) re-tune the car (crome)

It shouldnt be that time consuming however i dont have time or a garage to do this in the winter. I know ill need new orings on the injectors but if you guys dont have them i can get them.

What is the labor cost like and how long do you think it could take?

Got it... i just wanted to give some more detail. all thats involved with turboing it again is

swap injectors
wire resistor pack
put the chip back in the zif
swap the headers and the turbo (already on manifold with ewg)
swap the oil pan for the tapped one.
install the sandwich adaptor and then put all the IC piping back on (ic is already on car with most of piping)

the rough stuff would be welding the new flange on and then taking the car for another tune.

do you have a quote on just modifying the DP and tune?

Hard to give an exact quote without actually seeing the car and evaluating it myself...even then, nothing is exact.

How close are you? Would you want to bring the car by so I can take a look?

That sounds pretty good for a stock motor actually...depending on the turbo.

But I am sure the exhaust is angled for back pressure to have a faster spool-up for larger size turbochargers @ low RPM

Its going to spool a lot slower than that other turbo, you will have more top end of course...but its going to be a completely different car to drive.

where do you think it would hit 10pounds at? I dont mind lag since its a DD i dont care about it being too fast. im also glad that the bigger turbo will probably save me some wheel hop lol.
