Anybody need practice on action shots?

Hey gang,

I know there are a lot of photographers on here. Some may be looking for a chance to test out some new technique, lighting, or whatever.

I just want someone to come take some action pics of one of my inline hockey teams games. Tim (vwcarradokid) came some time last year and took some cool pics of us, but I was hoping to get some new ones.

if anybody is interested, let me know. its just basic mens league hockey, no big intermission, games take 45-60 minutes.

Where do you play and when would it be? I wouldnt mind getting some practice. I'll shoot it for free and give you a CD, but if want editing and prints I can do that for real cheap.

I wouldn't expect and edits. I just want some shots of us doing what we love. When people's girlfriends or friends bring plain jane digital cams, the pics never turn out. lol It just sucks not having many pics of me doing what i love. You guys have your cars, my car plays like 5th fiddle in my life. lol

I play in Northeast Philly at the Northeast Racquet Club on Grant Avenue. Our next game is tonight at 9:30. But there are plenty of weeks left, so let me know.

Tonight is kind of short notice, plus I have a bum shoulder from snowboarding last weekend. What does your schedule look like for next week?

Next week is Thursday @ 10:30, versus probably the most physical team in the league...you may even get some fighting action at that one. lol

Hmm. I think I might be able to do that. Do you have a link to arena or anything so that I can get directions? Also, what time should I be there and where should I meet you?

the site is www.northeastracquet.com (there is even a part on there for team sports)- - the arena is in the far back, when you pull into the lot you will see a sign on the racquet club for ARENA with an arrow pointing. Puck drops at 10:30, i'll be there by 10. You can just meet me in there, my names Mario..I'll be wearing #21 in white/red.

You probably wont get too many good pics through the glass..if you wanna go behind the score keeper bench they will probably let you, but make you sign a waiver in case you catch one in the dome. lol
