not too familiar with rotaries now are ya?

i saw in a thread this guy made on an rx8 forum sayin hes in the low 10s in the 1/4 mile. not too shabby, guess there isnt THAT much lag.....

just the engine alone would run me between 4-5k, but i thought it was a crazy concept....

i love that fire vid....wow!

Doesn't the power just keep gaining in the RPM? I'm not to familiar and am working on comp papers so I don’t have the "time" to do enough research... but apparently enough time to check the forums once in a while LOL.

i take 3rd up to its 9500 rpm limit which is 94 mph, then shift into second....the needle goes WHOOSH! its lots of fun!

20Bs are obtainable thru jdm engine comps....i already talked to shawn at rt tuning, he said hed get me a 20b turbo for 4k. so i have been lookin around and doin homework on swaps and whats involved....for the rx8, it aint that much.

Depends on the car really. I never drove a rotary. I have drove the S2000 and the power band is so narrow it wasn't that fun to drive.

I prefer a high RPM car. I am just so used to the sound every time I get in a american car with a 6000 rpm redline I bounce off that thing all day.

My porsche is the best of both worlds. Make full torque at 2500 rpm and the horsepower just keeps climbing till I hit the rev limiter at 9000 rpm. Amazing motor with a huge wide power band. Custom gearing that hits 100mph in 2nd gear(God I love this car)
