ebay thread

Just curious who on her uses ebay to sell goods.

Any power sellers?
Who has the most feedback?

I just got hooked and have sold over 4000 dollars worth this month.

I have 111 transactions, been involved since May 2002....not hard-core, but not an amateur.

to ship that stuff would be no where near 13 dollars. even priority with delivery confirmation and insurance would be about 6.00.

Im just saying, buyers are turned off when they see sellers charging too much.

That same Bullsh*t happened to me! I was like "ok, I have enough in my account", next thing I realize I was like -$20 in my account. Bastages.

I've seen items that sell for $20, and you know would cost $5 to shop, having shipping charges of $30, and not negotiable. I avoid sellers like that.

Here's a tip - if you're listing a car, and it doesn't sell, DO NOT relist it unless you realize you're again paying the same listing fee - when I was trying to sell my son's 240 (still for sale), it didn't sell at our high reserve price, and I ended up relisting it 4 times and slightly lowering the price each time - it cost me $290 in fees for those listings. Crap.

Of course, if you relist normal stuff (not cars or trucks), it's free to relist.
