New to Tuners!!!

Hey!

just wanted to say hi!

I own a 3rd generation Mazda rx7 - it is a work in progress!!

My mazda is currently having a Pettitt Racing motor installed, and many , many upgrades!! from Defi Gauges to an upgraded clutch. I can't wait to get in it and drive!!

I will post the progress as I get photos....but here are afew to give you an idea now. One reason I got turned onto this car was the sleek look, so I really didn't change it that much, I did replace a lot of the cosmetic things such as seats, new carpets, paint job etc. I also want to upgrade my wheels & tires to 17 inch, that will give the car a little more of an agressive look!!

Could be.

Regardless, nice car - despite them being from 93 they still have a leg up on modern car styling. Love the RX7

Your right -

as I found this info : In North America, three models were offered; the "base", the touring, and the R models. The touring FD had a sunroof, leather seats, and a complex Bose Acoustic Wave system. The R (R1 in 1993 and R2 in 1994–95) models featured stiffer suspensions, an aerodynamics package, suede seats, and Z-rated tires.

Funny thing is - people have told me this is an R1 - but no, I don't have 2 oil coolers - thanks for the clarification! So I guess I would have to say base model - BUT STILL A PRETTY CAR .

Just about done - FINALLY!

Hello!
see my first few shots at top of this thread.....

It has been quite some time, but the car is almost( 95%) done. New engine is in and being broken in. Taking it slow, still have yet to experiencethe REAL power of this car!! The powdercoating came out better than I anticipated. You will either love or hate what I have done. Car is still close to it's original sleak look..............I hope you enjoy
