new project daily!!!! golf III K2 edition
I dont want this car to be "just another slammed vdub" i want it to be a handling machine that still has a stock look to it. Slightly lowered for a better center of gravity without destroying the suspension geometry. Done: K&n cone filter fitted inside the bottom of the stock airbox Plugs, wires, cap, and rotor Seafoam top end cleaning New clutch Drilled/slotted rotors Hawk pads High flow cat New center pipe Plans: Catback exhaust New trans with taller gearing Possibly neuspeed supercharger kit if the funds can be arranged Suspension, not sure if i want coilover or an awesome cup kit. Suspension links, sway bars, poly bushings Neuspeed short shift kit Possibly rear disc converion 256 or 260 cam Techtonic or black forest chip Really want some RPF1 15x7 Other cosmetic odds and ends... Oem euro stuff

Upgraded to an LED dome light, cue ball shift knob, ziza yellow fog bulbs.
4 new cooper cs4 tires Also got some weitec xs coilovers that havent been installed yet, also ordered front control arms with poly bushings pre-pressed.

Not bad. Been working and training like crazy. Finally got an unlimited data plan so i can now hop on at anytime. I did have unlimited web, but tristate was slow as s*** on the browser.

Coilovers went on today. Lowered but not slammed. Needs some tweaking tomorrow. Alignment done as well. Need to set the rear ride height where i like it.

All dialed in, im happy with it. Alignment is within oem spec except for rear camber. I dont feel like using shims lol. Too much work...
F. Camber: left -0.09 right -0.09 F. Caster: left -1.20 right -1.70 (road crown compensation) F. Toe: left -0.01 right -0.01 R. Camber: left -1.78 right -1.65 R. Toe: left -0.14 right -0.16 Thrust angle is 0.06 to the left(again... to compensate for road crown)

VW has them, you could also take a look on CL and see if anyone is selling some oem VW wheels. I see them all the time and theyre usually priced well. I found a few with tires for a couple hundred when I was looking for them for my forester.

Well a plastic ball in my shift linkage broke yesterday. Its causing some gears to not fully engage sometimes... gave me a great excuse to buy a USRT bushing rebuild kit and techtonics tuning short shift kit. Yaayy!
