Wednesday Night Meets at Weis, Pottstown PA

New meet area this year has been started up on Wednesday Nights. As of being new there is usually a 20-30 car turnout but we'd like to see more; All makes, models and people are invited. We're usually there until about 10-10:30pm. Please keep all negative attitudes out and respect the rules.

TIME: 8 PM
WHEN: Every Wednesday Night
WHERE: Weis Parking Lot

Rules
No Burnouts and Excessive Revving
No Littering
No Speeding Through the Parking Lot

Just curious... but why not just come to the meet in Oaks on Tuesday nights(only a 20 minute drive) rather then have a new meet. Wouldn't 1 really good meet be better then 2 average ones?

That's is a good idea but it seems no one around here wants to really drive to Oaks on Tuesday nights or they're typically busy on that night (whether they may think its "too far" or something don't ask me I have no clue) so we picked up Wednesdays nights as there's not really a local one that night, and it just kind of stuck for awhile and meets everyone's schedule.

So a local cop rolls though. Asks us what we are doing and all that good stuff. Was a cool dude and said he didn't care as long as he doesn't hear any complaints.

Barely 5 minutes later a dark color Prelude is at the stop sign and floors it. Tires break a tad. When he parks 1/2 the people swarm his car to look under the hood rather then give him **** for being a retard.

Knowing me and my big mouth, the small group I came with were making fun of this ricer and from their group we hear "Nice Corvette" to try in insult me? It is nice. Thank you. Even though I don't like your style of car I wasn't making fun of your car... I was making fun of how retarded you pulled in and how retarded the people were for basically condoning that behavior rather then saying something to you.

Won't be long till this is shut down at this pace.

I was hoping one of the leaders would have some common sense to approach him, and remind him of the rules, especially around a common parking lot. People can be reminded that there IS a Stop Sign and that it's not some type of staging tree for launches.

As I can't control what was going on last night that I was actually at work, hoping that one of the others were going to try and keep the idiotic pull outs to not happen. I don't like the fact that some people have the need to show off like its a contest. We're all out there for the same reason, to have a good time.

Next time I know I'll be there, and I hope not to see any douchebaggery about other peoples cars, I'd honestly like to see this meet going forward and progressing but the rules also need to be kept in mind.

I will say this much... the turnout was good though. We only stayed for maybe 45 minutes and there was a solid 20 cars.

Really liked that old truck that came.

Came to this last night as it was too nice of a night to sit home...It was pretty calm the whole time I was there. I left once people started going out to rt 100 to street race. Thats a BIG no no and will only get this meet in trouble.

Just like anywhere else, street racing isn't encouraged. But there's not much that can be done when people voluntarily leave to go do it somewhere else

If your a TsT member your a leader....even if you walk to the event. Everyone needs to pull together to pick up the slack and fill the gaps in authority.

Street Racing is the 2nd reason meets get shut down, even if the meet itself is not a disturbance. The local PD will see it as a staging point and quickly shut it down.

Hopefully this meet will last through the summer long enough that I may get down to it .....?

Honestly there's been no speak of it lately. We're looking to have this meet grow and not willing to welcome those actions of those specific individuals. The way it's been going this meet will be in place all summer.
