Hey Guys, I put the evo on the backburner and picked up a new project car.
1998 Bmw Z3. Bought the car as a shell, the PO is on here i think so some of you may recognize it. The ORIGINAL plan was to drop an S52 into it and call it a day, But after starting to take the interior apart I found that ALL the wiring had been unloomed and haggardly wired together. There's a Viper alarm that needs to be taken out, and a power line for an amp that doesn't exist in the car. Some type of aftermarket wiring going under the soft top. The interior was shoddly put together with whatever random screws were laying around. So after discovering all of this I decided to go big or go home so now its getting an LS1 swap lol Going to Race wire the whole car so i know its done, and done right. and pretty much gonna make it overall awesome.

It's gonna be a long and $$$ road but should be worth it when all said and done

Right now its in the Tear down stage, and here's some pics.

Front End taken off to tear apart the bay and clean it, the PO had to have blown the motor cause there's oil EVERYWHERE. nothing a little purple power and brake clean can't fix though.

18x10 + 25 XXR 521's, car looks dope with them on.

Looks like this is gonna be an interesting build. My mom has an 01 (I think) with the 2.5 inline 6 in it, the thing is a ****ing absolute blast to drive. Damn shift knob broke on it when I shifted from 1st to 2nd lol.

Thanks! me too lol, i'm already 3k deep into it and haven't bought a trans or the swap kit yet!

That sucks! I've read they feel like its needs a bit more power to them...450whp 400wtq should be alright...maybe lol
