Just trying to get some opinions on these 2 camera products for my Canon that I'm interested in purchasing if anyone uses or used them.

First is a Tamron 10-24mm wide angle lens. Been looking around for a nice wide angle lens and this is pretty inexpensive at $500.

Second is the Canon Speedlite 430EX II. Finally going to pick up a flash and I've heard good things about this one.

If anyone has any insight on these, let me know. Just want to make sure I'm buying a good product

I have the 580ex and its good, still getting used to it though. I think you should go with the lens though. I asked for the rokina 8mm fisheye for x-mas i hopes i gets it (fingers-crossed) :D

If your current body can handle high ISO images for indoor photos, then a flash may not be necessary at the moment. If your body struggles with high ISO image quality, a flash is a worth purchasing. You'll eventually want to purchase a hot shoe flash since you'll progress with your photography and move towards off-camera lighting. If you can't afford it now, it'll be in your bag eventually.

A flash is also handy for outdoor use for fill-flash.
