Sloppy Mechanics Fairmont 4.0 4.8/60e/7.5/76mm (413whp/400ftlbs baby soft tuneup lol)

whoa! been a while since i have been on here i apologize

picked up this gem for 500 dollars! locally again!

not sure what i wanted to do with this car in the beginning but it ended up being a spare parts build while i prepared my other vehicle with the 8.8 and 80e for more power

pulled the stock motor and trans,

decided to install my 4.8 turbo motor out of the yellow car, use a spare 60e i had, and stock driveshaft and rear

decided to do something i normally dont do
cut the whole dash open

installed a 2002 camaro SS dash

lsx badge from my friend who cuts

cut the hood to fit the truck intake (cheaper, i had it for free, and i can drop in 60lb injectors from a gt500 originally i was going to see how far stock 28s would get me, but i realized that would be nearly useless and no fun lol

took a 60e dipstick out of a blazer at the yard, fits great

used trans cooler out of the ynkyard too

stock driveshaft with the 60e yoke on it fits.

60lb gt500 injectors drop in

installed a quarter stick and cup holders lol

camaro dash hooked up

friend of mine sumped the stock gas tank again (he did the yellow car too)

this time we used a 60 dollar knock off bosch 044 pump, its bright blue, has been working great, and discounthydraulichose.com for fuel, trans, and oil lines on this car. also working great for now.

first road trip!

overdrive monster

As it sits,

1981 Ford Fairmont 4 dr black/silver two-tone
stock gas tank sumped, bosch044 clone, 3/8ths feed and return.
stock 1999 4.8L with paper head gaskets, chinese valvesprings, ls1 cam, stock truck intake with stock truck throttle, and gt500 injectors in stock rails with stock regulator.

EFI source 3 bar map sensor, modified stock wiring harness by my friend shannon taylor, 3 bar SD OS installed on stock 2000 silverado 2500 PCM
stock manifolds, 2 inch piping, single 60mm wastegate, on3 76mm turbo, 2 inch cold piping, 3x12x31 intercooler, pumpgas no methanol, running 14psi

stock 60e, stock converter, stock ford driveshaft (yoke swap), stock rear end (untouched 7.5)

the car laid down an easy 413rwhp and 400ftlbs of tq,

60-160mph pull on the dyno there.

only 12lbs of boost and 12deg of timing in it on pumpgas, no methanol. car should weigh 3000lbs

easy high 11s car with a bull**** launch
